

Horizons is partnering with Streetz Ahead to expand the Dance Giants programme to three secondary schools in Enfield. Dance Giants is a structured and inclusive extra-curricular programme that blends physical movement with creative expression.

The Dance Giants programme is all about reducing stress and improving the self-esteem of young people, increasing their confidence and providing a space in which to build strong social connections. All this with the ultimate aim of encouraging positive attitudes towards school and learning.

Since its inception in 1995, Streetz Ahead has been transforming the lives of young people in North London through dance, mentoring, and creative expression. Founded by Elizabeth Lahav, the charity believes in breaking barriers through movement, giving children access to the arts while equipping them with confidence, resilience, and essential life skills through mentoring and arts therapies.
