Horizons is partnering with Haringey Music Service (HMS) to fund Logic In Libraries, a project that aims to increase access to Logic Pro for students in Haringey.

Horizons is thrilled to support HMS to buy 3 iMacs for specific Haringey libraries with access to Logic Pro as a step towards levelling the playing field for access to music technology for all our young people.
HMS is building on the ongoing success of the Pianos in Libraries project, which gave children, young people and adults across Haringey access to Casio GP-310 pianos in their local library.
With four Haringey schools offering Level 3 BTEC Music courses, this project will directly support young people after school, at weekends and during the school holidays to access the software they need.
Alongside purchasing 3 iMacs, two drop-in training sessions will be run for young people to learn how to use the software. Library staff will also be trained on how to use the iMacs so they can support young people with troubleshooting issues.
Starting with the Marcus Garvey Library in Tottenham, iMacs will be purchased for more Haringey libraries, including Coombes Croft Library and St Ann's Library. Watch this space for updates on when the project launches in your local library.
