Eligibility
Must live within the boroughs of Haringey and Enfield or be at BRIT/BRIT Kids
Must be 15- 18 years old
Must have parental/ guardian permission
Prize
Performing the winning song on stage at ‘One Step beyond, with Suggs and friends’ as part of the star-studded line up on 27th October 2022
Entry criteria
-Applicants should submit a video performance of their song consisting of music and song lyrics
-The song must be no more than 5 minutes in length, if a song is longer it will not be accepted
-Entries received after the deadline will not be considered
-Shortlisted applicants will have their song available for the public to hear on Horizons website and social channels in the weeks leading up to the event
-The shortlisted applicants in each category will be chosen on or around 29th September
-Shortlisted applicants will partake in auditions in front of our judges on 30th September to decide the winner
- The final winner will perform at Alexandra Palace theatre, 27th October 2022

Terms and conditions
By entering the competition you agree:
Winners will be available to perform at the event as detailed:
One Step beyond, with Suggs and friends will take place on Thursday the 27th October 2022.
- The winners must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian on the night
- Must agree to the normal requirements placed on performers, namely:
- To perform at the time notified to them (for the agreed length of time);
- Agree to any filming or recording as required;
- Work with the Stage Manager and meet all Health and Safety requirements

Join Suggs and friends on 27th October 2022, in London’s spectacular Alexandra Palace Theatre, one of North London’s best kept secrets.
Suggs, the frontman of Madness will be hosting this unforgettable night joined by some of Londons most talented musicians including singing sensation and Jam frontman Paul Weller, the phenomenal Chrissie Hynde and DJ set from soundclash champion David Rodigan MBE – while raising funds for Horizons. This will be Horizons' first fundraising event and what better way to kick off!
All funds raised will go towards creating a fairer, more equal start in life, through access to educational resources, extra-curricular activities and experiences across academia, technology, sports and the arts. Your donation will be supporting children and young people to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
